Availble from up to 22"x30" originals using either our flatbed or dedicated film scanners. We can produce scans at very high resolutions, but you may not require that for your project. Take into consideration what your scan will be used for and anticipate the largest size it will ever be needed. A smaller file/image can be made from the original file but a larger one cannot be made without losing image quality. All scans should be done at the needed output resolution and at least as big as the final image size.

For output to our Fuji^® 4000 Pictrography printer, we recommend 400 ppi at final image size. For web and on-screen use, a 72 ppi scan at final image size is all that is required.

Please note that all items to be scanned are dusted for surface dirt only. Embedded dirt, scratches and damage will adversely affect the appearance of the final product. Anything beyond normal surface dirt and/or major color correction and critical color matching may require additional billable computer time.
